The news: Prime members approved for the Prime Visa credit card will receive a $250 Amazon gift card as a welcome bonus during Amazon’s Prime Day multi-day promotional sales event.

  • Enrolled Prime members received 10% cash back on rotating Amazon deals.
  • They can get 5% back on Amazon.com, Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market, and Chase Travel purchases, and 2% back at gas stations, restaurants, local transit, and commuting expenses.
  • All other purchases are eligible for 1% cash back.
