The news: Capital One opened a new culinary-focused airport lounge experience called Capital Landing in Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., per CNBC.

Capital One is working in partnership with celebrity chef José Andrés on the lounge experience.
Capital Landing will not have the same amenities as a typical airport lounge. Instead, it wants to be a restaurant-quality airport dining experience for travelers on shorter-haul domestic flights.

Capital One Venture X Rewards and Capital One Venture X Business cardholders will get complimentary access to the lounge. They can bring one guest for free and additional guests for $45. Other eligible Capital One cardholders can enter the lounge for $45, while travelers without a Capital One card will have to pay $90 per person.
