The trend: Consumer demand for telehealth remains strong, but many healthcare providers have reduced their virtual care offerings, according to a survey from the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions. Around 2,000 US consumers and 51 health system executives were polled in July 2024.

Patients like using telehealth: They’re engaging with doctors online at similar rates as recent prior years, and want to continue doing so.

About half of US adults participated in some telehealth activity in the past six months, according to an August 2024 survey from Comscore that was provided to EMARKETER.
