The news: Starting this week, Delta SkyMiles members can earn miles when they ride with Uber or place delivery orders through Uber Eats, thanks to a new partnership between the companies.

The details: Delta frequent flyers need to link their SkyMiles and Uber accounts at delta.com/uber to begin earning miles on eligible rides and orders.

• The partnership will also enable a customer booking a flight through the Fly Delta app to add an Uber Reserve ride to or from the airport, per TechCrunch.
