The news: Google, whose services haven’t been accessible in China since 2010, is the subject of an antitrust investigation by the country’s State Administration for Market Regulation over alleged violations of its anti-monopoly law, per CNBC. 

The authority accused Google of breaking antitrust laws but didn’t disclose details.

China’s sudden probe into Google comes as the country announced 15% tariffs on US coal and natural gas imports.
