The news: Big tech giants Microsoft and Google each unveiled generative AI (genAI) tools and features for healthcare providers at this week’s HIMSS 2025 conference.

Microsoft rolled out voice AI assistant for clinicians: Microsoft Dragon Copilot combines voice dictation and ambient listening capabilities from Microsoft-owned Nuance’s AI-powered clinical documentation tools.

The new offering will let doctors dictate notes and post-visit patient summaries, as well as automate other tasks, in one centralized workspace.
